Job description: Job Summary Key responsibilities / main job duties:
– Develop and deliver training courses on UAV mechanical systems, including airframes, propulsion systems, landing gear, and control systems.
– Design instructional materials, presentations, and practical exercises to facilitate effective learning and skill development.
– Conduct theoretical and practical assessments and evaluations to gauge trainee understanding and proficiency in mechanical concepts and procedures.
– Provide hands-on training and demonstrations in classroom, workshop and field settings.
– Mentor and support trainees, offering guidance in troubleshooting and maintenance techniques specific to UAVs.
– Stay updated with advancements in UAV technology and incorporate relevant updates into training programs.
– Collaborate with other instructors and subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive and cohesive training delivery.
– Maintain training equipment and resources to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
– Uphold safety standards and regulations during training activities.Candidate requirements:
Qualification and/or professional license(s)
– Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
– AME qualification is advantageousYears of experience needed
– Proven experience as an aircraft Technician, Mechanical Instructor, or in a similar role within the aviation industry.
– 5 – 10 years’ experienceProficiency in certain applications and/or software
– Experience in ERP systems and logistics software
– Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, CAA part 145)Sound knowledge of
– Deep knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, components, and maintenance practices.
– Strong instructional and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
– Experience in developing curriculum, training materials, and assessments.
– Proficiency in hands-on mechanical tasks, including assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting of aircraft components.
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
– Patience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching and mentorship.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Non-negotiable
