Job description: Job Summary Site Foreman/Handyman – Residential Construction – HANDS ON The Site Foreman will oversee daily operations on residential construction sites, ensuring efficient and safe project execution. Project Supervision: Oversee all on-site activities, including construction and adherence to safety protocols. Team Management: Lead and supervise workers, subcontractors, and staff, assigning tasks and ensuring timely execution. Quality Control: Ensure work meets specifications, building codes, and quality standards. Scheduling: Coordinate project timelines and adjust plans as needed. Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role in residential construction. • Trade Skills: Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general building practices. • Leadership: Strong ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities. • Communication: Effective verbal and written skills. • Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making to resolve challenges. • Certifications: Site Safety Certification or relevant trade qualifications preferred. • License: Valid driver’s license required.
Expected salary: R10000 per month
