- You will have working experience in the engineering development, design and construction of a range of concrete & structural steel, building projects (Commercial Buildings, Retail, Warehouses, Office Complexes)
- You will be able to plan and execute structural drafting assignments – reinforced concrete & structural steel.
- You will be responsible for reviewing the work of Junior Draftspersons and provide feedback.
- Ensure projects are documented within guidelines set by supervisor
- Produce efficient, high quality drawings and documentation
- Quality audit on outgoing drawings
- Participating in office technical discussions and project delivery meetings
- Coordination of multi-disciplinary work on projects
- Communicate with clients, suppliers and other offices
- Prepare bills of quantities
- Compile reinforcing bending schedules
- Assist Engineers with research and innovation
- Assist Project Managers and engineers with site queries and reporting solutions
Qualifications
- Drafting Diploma would be ideal
Skills
- 5+ years’ experience as detailed in the job description
- Valid driver’s licence.
- 3D modelling and the creation of construction drawings
- Must be proficient in Autodesk Revit or MicroStation and AutoCad 3D
- BIM 360
