Job description: Job Summary
Inspect all equipment to ensure production efficiency is consistently achieved
Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults in machinery
Assemble, relocate, set up, and dismantle tools and machinery as required
Perform maintenance tasks in line with the equipment supplier’s safety standards
Monitor equipment inventory and collaborate with the Storeman to manage orders
Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out maintenance on plant machinery
Proactively work to ensure maximum plant availability
Maintain accurate logs and detailed reports of daily activities
Identify and assess hazardous situations on-site
Report accidents and incidents to the Maintenance Manager without delay
Always promote and uphold safe working practices
Contribute to maintaining high housekeeping standards
Be available for standby duties as neededSkills & Experience:
Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Millwright or in Electrical work
Proficiency in PLC systems
Experience in the Plastic Industry and FMCG sectors is advantageous
Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
Strong mechanical skills are essentialQualification:
Trade certification is essential
N6 qualification is required
Electronics certification is required
