Job Title: Remote Graphic Designer

Job description: Job Description :This is a remote position.A trendy company in the food and beverage industry requires a mid -level Graphic Designer for a 4-month maternity cover role. You’ll work remotely with flexible hours, with the need to visit the office in Midrand, Johannesburg, once in a while (ideally). The preferred start date is the middle of March 2025, so applicants who are available immediately for short-term work will be best-suited.Key outputs:
- Design, layout and produce artwork as per client requirements
- Communication with sales team on requirements for artwork
- Create artwork concepts and mock ups for marketing presentations
- Achieve daily set targets for number of layouts completed
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to artwork
Requirements * Minimum of 4 years’ graphic design experience.
- Completed qualification in Graphic and/or Multimedia Design
Highly proficient in:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Corel Draw
- Microsoft 360
Additional requirements:
- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple streams of work
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Understand and interpret client’s artwork brief and requirements
- Prepare print-ready files for diverse projects
- Understanding of different branding methods i.e., screen printing, litho printing and digital printing
- Must have experience in different branding i.e., wrapping of machinery, car wrapping, canvas, labels, posters, banners, digital ads etc.
