Project Engineer / Manager (HVAC) – East RandPOSITION INFO:Employer DescriptionOur client is an HVAC contracting company.Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for project management of the installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) plant, and the utilisation and maintenance of quality assurance control systems.Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Skills
- 10+ years’ experience in the HVAC industry
- Ductwork fabrication and construction standards in accordance to SMACNA and SABS ductwork standards.
- Pipe work material and erection standards.
- Electrical site wiring installation standards.
- Good understanding of HVAC and refrigeration engineering principles.
- Factories and machinery act with special attention to safety precaution procedures.
- In depth understanding of quality assurance work instructions and installation checklists to ensure the minimising of defective material and workmanship.
- Controls and BMS
- An overview knowledge of Autocad computer aided drawing.
- Microsoft project resource management and project programming.
- Computer skills on word processing, electronic spread sheets.
Expected salary: R550000 – 720000 per year
