Our client aims to create contemporary off-grid modular homes with a zero-energy, zero-carbon, and zero-waste building model for health and sustainable living.We are seeking a talented and passionate Quality Assurance Manager (Manufacturing) to join our clients team in Pretoria and help them turn their vision into a reality. QA (Quality Assurance) Manager within the manufacturing department would oversee the quality control of materials, components, or products being produced as part of architectural designs. The QA Manager would be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products meet high-quality standards and align with the specifications outlined in design plansPretoria | Permanent | On-site | Salary negotiableÂPOSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and establish quality assurance protocols for manufacturing processes in alignment with the architectural firmâs standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that checklists, inspection guidelines, and specifications are clear, detailed, and easy to follow for the team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulations that impact the quality of manufactured materials or components.
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure processes are followed correctly and products meet quality benchmarks.
- Inspect raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products at various stages of production, ensuring they adhere to architectural specifications
- Regularly audit manufacturing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or risks to product quality.
- Train manufacturing staff and QA team members on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.
- Work closely with the design,
, and production teams to ensure that manufacturing processes align with design expectations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelorâs degree in Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering or a related field (Advantageous)
- Experience working in sustainable building design, Construction, Real-estate or Architecture.
- Solid understanding of building systems, materials, and construction processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship
