Job description: Project Manager – Steel and Concrete – Cape TownFull job descriptionA leader in the formwork market, specialising in steel and in situ concrete solutions for both the residential and commercial sectors is seeking for a Project Manager.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee and project manage 3 – 4 sites (residential)Engage with 6 – 7 Team Leaders (who oversee 7 – 8 staff each)Plan out orders of reinforcing steelLiaise with client, informing them when concrete will be cast, when steel will be doneLiaise with steel fixing (in-house) to make arrangementsLiaise with buildersHandle issues on site and sort them outCoordinate the steel and concreteVisit sites every dayQualifications:Don’t necessarily need a building qualification but must have the knowledgeRequirements and Experience:Must have working knowledge of formwork, steel reinforcing and constructionMust have experience in managing a siteSupervisory experienceExperience working on a construction siteSkills and Attributes:Great communication skills – able to interact well with clientsLeadership skills and managerial experienceEngaging and customer orientedJob Type: Full-timePay: R20 000,00 – R25 000,00 per month
