Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Job description: Technical Documentation & Support Create and compile technical documents such as manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, quality control checklists, SOPs, and BOMs
Production & Design Work Support multiple yacht production lines, develop new products, and implement design changes through the ECR process
CAD Modelling & Design Optimization Create 2D/3D CAD models, perform calculations, and optimize tooling, jig design, weight, cost, and assembly processes
Process & Quality Improvement Research and implement new technologies to improve design, quality, and manufacturing efficiency while reducing costs
Project Implementation & Change Management Assist with prototype builds, introduce design changes, and ensure smooth rollout of new designs across departments
Project Deadlines & Quality Assurance Ensure specifications are complete, meet deadlines, conduct quality checks, and handle additional tasks as requiredSkills & Experience:
Minimum of 2-4 years experience in the manufacturing industry
Design for Manufacturing Strong understanding of manufacturing design and build sequences
CAD Software Proficiency Experience with SolidWorks (2015 onwards), basic knowledge of AutoCAD/Draftsight (2010 onwards), with speed/accuracy tests required
MS Office Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially ExcelQualification:
