Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor (Civil Construction) – Knysna

Job description: Duties:
- Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor to prepare Estimates, Cost Plans, Bills of Quantities, Specifications and Schedule of Rates
- Must be able to do measurements on civil work (Digs, Trenching etc.)
- Preparing preliminary estimates for conceptual projects
- Assisting with tender documents
- Assist with determining key variables for cost and other estimates
- Assist with gathering first information from sites
- Conduct research to obtain data on labour costs, materials, and production times etc.
- Obtain and review quotes from subcontractors
- Create and submit tenders to Projects Managers, clients, etc
- Communication between different departments on current projects and requirements
- Conduct accurate cost analyses and estimations for the organization
Requirements:Grade 12· Quantity Surveying or Construction / Building qualification· Minimum 2 years experience· Must be computer literate proficient in ExcelProfessional and detail orientedAbility to read drawings and plansValid drivers license
Expected salary: R15000 – 20000 per month
