Job Title: Estimator (Piping and Building Division)

Job description: Our client based in Centurion, dealing with construction and mining industries is looking for an Estimator with Piping work experience to join them on a Fixed Terms Contract.Must have Piping estimation work experience working with tenders.We require your working knowledge of Solid Edge/ Solid Works Software.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Tender Estimating and compiling costing sheets and quotations
- Source materials from preferred suppliers
- Prepare all Price Comparison Sheets
- Read engineering drawings and extract our scope of supply
- Compile material off-takes, raw material requirements for fabrications
- Manage Raw Material and Free Issue Stocks to Fabricators
- Compile raw material offtake quantities for procurement
- Estimate finished goods from compiled raw material cost, work closely with manufacturers and suppliers
- Sales Support Prepare all quotations from enquiries received
- Procurement of products on awarded projects and Branch Orders
- Daily follow-up processes should be followed and reported
- Purchase order Tracking and transfer of information to internal report formats
- Delivery and collection slips should be compiled when necessary
- Oversee loading of materials together with warehouse staff
- Offsite inspections and stocktakes should be done
- Source new suppliers and build relationships
- ite visits and problem-solving to resolve project-related issues (As and when required)
