Job description: OpportunityDigital and Graphic DesignerRole OverviewThis role involves producing a range of visually striking assets across digital and print media for our group, including but not limited to social media graphics, website content, mailshots, billboards, marketing collateral, and brand portfolios.Responsibilities
- Design visually compelling assets that meet brand guidelines and project goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver effective visual solutions
- Develop digital and print materials for various platforms, including websites and social media
- Manage and update brand les, ensuring consistent visual representation
- Work alongside copywriters to create cohesive visual and written content
- Conduct research to stay informed on design trends and industry best practices
- Ensure high-quality standards in all designs, optimised for web and print use
- Assist with the visual presentation of brands and companies on social media
- Collaborate with developers to integrate design elements into websites
- Support the creation and maintenance of group portfolios with accurate visual representation
- Propose creative ideas to enhance the overall design aesthetic and user experience
- Handle multiple projects efficiently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital and graphic design
- Proven ability to interpret briefs and produce compelling visual solutions
- Expertise in designing assets for websites, brand files, and social media
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Familiarity with Affinity Designer or Sketch for Mac (advantageous)
- Strong collaboration skills with copywriters to create engaging social content
- Solid understanding of UX/UI principles for enhanced user experience
- Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap is beneficial
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to independently manage projects from brief to completion
- Up-to-date with digital trends and standards to improve user engagement across our platforms
Expected salary: R30000 – 40000 per month
