Design and develop products using 3D and 2D CAE tools
Ensure compliance with SOPs and Quality Management System standards
Create prototypes, engineering drawings, and manufacturing specifications
Collaborate with production teams on prototyping and testing
Oversee preproduction trials and ensure readiness for handover
Optimize time, resources, and budgets for product development
Conduct material and process research to enhance designs
Apply APQP tools and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to SHEQ policies and resolve workplace hazards
Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
Manage MRP BOMs for planning and costing
Safeguard company assets and uphold corporate governance standardsSkills & Experience:
Strong sense of urgency in task completion
Excellent communication skills
Highly self-motivated
Creative, “out-of-the-box” critical thinking abilities
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proficient in identifying, inspecting, using, and maintaining engineering hand tools
Skilled in selecting, using, and maintaining engineering power tools
Knowledge of product and process development
Solid understanding of engineering principles
Awareness of health and safety standards in the manufacturing environment
Proficient in CAE software, preferably Catia V5 or SolidWorks
Strong time management and teamwork abilities
Familiar with quality systems, preferably ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
Excellent attention to detailMinimum requirements:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
