Job description: Job Summary The purpose of this role will be to provide strategic direction and oversight to debtors and creditors, general accounting, and continuous improvement functions.Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Financial Shared Service strategy
- Financial Shared Service budgets
- Financial and management reporting
- Business controls and governance
- Financial process ownership
- People management and development
- External and internal audit coordination
Education Requirements:
- Qualified CA(SA) required
Job Requirements and Skills:
- 8 to 10 years’ experience in a financial management position essential
- Manufacturing / Mining or Chemical industry experience essential
- Experience managing multi-discipline, cross functional teams
- Proficient in MS packages
- Sound knowledge of the regulatory, statutory and compliance frameworks
- Deadline driven
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
- Team player
