Job description: R&D Technician – BoksburgResearch and Development TechnicianQualificationDegree / Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Related FieldsRequirementsProven experience in a research and development role, preferably in the coatings or chemical manufacturing industry.Proficiency in using paint production equipment and laboratory instruments.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in research and product development.Ability to stay current with industry trends and technologies.Knowledge of coating technologies and their applications.DutiesLiaising with the lead development chemist and sales team to develop and refine products for customers, using paint production equipment, and researching new coating technologies to introduce into our business.Assist in the research, development, and refinement of coatings products to meet customer requirements.Liaise with the lead development chemist and sales team to ensure products are developed and refined to customer specifications.Operate and maintain paint production equipment to produce and test coating products.Research and stay up to date with coating technologies on the market to integrate innovative solutions into our product range.Maintain accurate records of research, development activities, and product specifications.Ensure the quality of developed products through rigorous testing and analysis.For more information please contact:Leonie Ashton
