Job description: Duties:· Schedule and prepare for meetings.· Execute process engineering and design for the tendering of projects.· Interpretation and implementation of Clients requirements and specifications.· Propose original and cost-effective alternative solutions.· Preparation of Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).· Preparation of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) with the assistance of the drawing office.· Preparation of General Arrangement Drawings (GAs) with the assistance of the drawing office.· Preparation of design calculations and mass balances.· Compilation of equipment schedules.· Prepare Request for Quotations.· Setting up of Supplier Quotation Evaluation criteria and completing the evaluations.· Communicating with suppliers regarding technical requirements for tenders.· Compilation of internal cost sheets.· Preparation of technical and commercial documentation for tenders.· Assisting with related tasks and costing.· Compilation of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) proposals.· Addressing technical and commercial clarifications during bid evaluation and contract negotiations.· Arranging Project Kick-off meetings including complete handover of a tender to the dedicated Project Manager after contract award.· When required, represent the company during site visits and meetings with potential clients.· Assisting with marketing related tasks including attending exhibitions.Junior Process and Proposals EngineerArea: Fourways, SandtonRemuneration: R18000 negotiableOverview: Recently qualified Chemical Engineer to assist with proposals, sales and process engineering services within the water and wastewater industriesRequirements:· Recently graduated B.
