Job description: Job Summary The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial aspects of the organization’s supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial functions for two manufacturing/supply chain sites, ensuring alignment with the broader global strategy.
- Provide financial leadership, reporting, and strategic insight to drive profitability and efficiency within the supply chain.
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to streamline processes, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and KPIs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Lead financial planning and control activities, including cash flow management, cost controls, and inventory accounting.
- Manage financial audits, compliance, and risk mitigation strategies across both sites.
- Partner with senior management to provide financial insights that support decision-making, growth, and operational improvements.
- Mentor and lead a small team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Skills and Educational Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager within a multinational manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Strong hands-on approach, with the ability to work across multiple sites and engage directly with operational teams.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and supply chain finance principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance,
- Accounting, or related field; CA(SA) or CIMA qualification is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in financial software and SAP
