Job description: Job Summary Business Development Consultant Location: Umhlanga, DBN, Bellville, Cape Town, Gqeberha, EC, Sandown, Sandton, Berea, East London, EC, George, WC, Centurion & Polokwane. Remuneration: R15 000 pm + R300 airtime + uncapped commission. Contract type: Permanent. Employment type: Full-time, onsite. Role Purpose Business Development Consultants are committed, driven, results-oriented advisers who can work on their own as well as in a team environment writing business in accordance with targets laid down by our client. Business Development Consultants advise primarily on motor and household domestic insurance. Experience and Qualifications Matric/Grade 12 FAIS Credits (min 30 credits in short-term insurance if the date of the first appointment is before 2010); or if the date of the first appointment is on or after 01/01/2010, a fully recognized qualification as per the FSCA qualification list. FAIS Regulatory Examination for Representatives (RE5) 12 CPD (continuous professional development) points Minimum of 2/3 years experience selling short-term insurance (Commercial and Personal lines insurance) either as a broker or tied agent, face to face. All required regulatory exams and accreditation. One year’s proof of commission earnings (minimum R10 000.00 pm). Candidate must have his transport (CAR) and license.
Expected salary: R15000 per month
