Job description: A well established Accounting firm based in Kenilworth is seeking a Financial Accountant.Duties:Responsible for managing several entities
Process all bank statements, supplier and journal entries up to Trial balance
Prepare monthly financial reports
Process payments on online banking
Process and reconcile supplier accounts
Reconcile General Ledger accounts
Petty cash control and reconciliation
Bad debt control and disbursements
Full creditors functions updating of all creditors contracts and renewals
VAT reconciliation and control and e-filing submission
Process on Profsoft CRM system daily maintenance of clients and reporting functions
Maintain orderly file records
Responsible for IT coordination, insurance reviews/ updates and renewalsRequirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Pastel bookkeeping
- Accounting diploma or higher
- Profsoft experience an advantage
- Proficiency in Excel and all Office software
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Computer Literacy:
- Pastel
- MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
- ProfSoft (Advantageous)
Expected salary: R20000 – 25000 per month
