Job description: Job SummaryA leading dealership, is looking for a Finance & Insurance (F&I) Consultant to maximise dealership revenue through vehicle finance, insurance sales, and contract administration. This role requires a strong financial background, FAIS compliance, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.Qualifications and Experience:
- BCom Degree or equivalent (with Accounting as a core subject, preferred)
- FAIS Compliant (RE 5 & Class of Business advantageous)
- 5+ years’ experience in finance, insurance, asset financing, credit evaluation, debt collection, or contract administration
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial & Risk Management – Strong knowledge of credit risk, financing, and insurance policies
- Customer Service & Relationship Management – Ability to handle customer queries professionally and ensure transparency in transactions
- Sales & Negotiation – Proven experience in selling finance & insurance products
- Analytical & Attention to Detail – Strong ability to process contracts & financial data accurately
- Regulatory Compliance Knowledge – Understanding of FAIS, FICA, RMCP, POPIA, CTR & STR reporting
- Time Management & Multi-Tasking – Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Strong Communication & Teamwork – Building relationships with Dealer Principals, Sales Managers, and Finance Companies
