- Develop and drive the data strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of data professionals to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Oversee the entire data product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation.
- Provide data-driven insights that create business value and support decision-making.
- Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to effectively communicate data strategies.
- Implement best practices in data governance, analytics, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and risk management through data solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, continuously innovating and integrating new data technologies.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between business, technology, and analytics teams.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements.
RequirementsMinimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of proven experience in an analytical role within the banking sector.
- At least 2 years of experience in a management or team leadership role, focusing on team development and client interaction.
- Strong track record of delivering complex analytical solutions.
- Expertise in problem-solving through data analytics.
- Experience managing a data product lifecycle, including planning, business cases, and execution.
- Proven ability to work at strategic, tactical, and technical levels.
- Background in technical data roles (e.g., Data Engineer, Data Architect, Data Scientist).
- Ability to translate technical data concepts into business insights for senior stakeholders.
- Experience conducting usability studies and customer research.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of business management experience in Data Management, Data Analytics, or Data Science.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership or strategic role within data management or analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
