Job description: To ensure the management of Medical Aid Schemes and Insurance Claims Management Process. To manage client’s expectation and deliverables. To have a resource to provide technical assistance to staff in order to initiate billing to all appropriate clients. To be up to date on regulations and implements changes regarding claims and billing requirements. To assess claims according to CPG guidelines and scope of practice adherence.Duties:
– The position entails evaluating management information,
– Management of Medical Aid Schemes and Insurance Claims Processes
– Providing Technical assistance to staff
– Assess and process 60 claims per day
– Solutions are offered according to protocols, procedures and product benefits
– Takes full responsibility for actions and self-training; provides a full service to clients; readily accepts change; behaves ethically at all timesRequirements:
– Matric
– Medical Qualification- Advanced Life Support (ANT, ECT, NDIP, ECP)
– Current HPCSA registration
– Minimum of 3 years’ general clinical experience
– Minimum of 3 years’ managerial experience in Team/ Medical Assistance Operations advantageous
– Proven competence in the relevant field of compliance and quality assurance
