As a Sales Rep for Zimco Group, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining relationships with our valued clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass an eclectic mix of customer engagement, cold calling, new business development, and technical consultation tailored to specific customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:
- Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Conduct extensive cold calling to generate new business leads.
- Present our product portfolio to clients and clarify technical specifications as needed.

New Business Development:
- Identify new market opportunities where Zimco Group products can be applied.
- Strategize and implement plans to penetrate new markets and grow market share.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of the industries our products serve, such as automotive foam/close cell foam applications, the construction industry, agriculture, and packaging sectors.
- Technical Consultation:
- Understand and establish the technical requirements specific to customer needs.
- Liaise with clients and factory teams to manage Works Order requirements efficiently.
- Provide after-sales support and technical advice to ensure customer satisfaction and product optimization.
Educational and Professional Qualifications:

Education:
- Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- A Sales/Marketing diploma or equivalent will be highly advantageous.

Experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Technical Sales position or a similar environment.
- Proficiency and technical know-how in industries like automotive, construction, agriculture, and packaging.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Exposure to applications such as automotive foam/close cell foam, sealing, packaging, buoyancy, and insulation.
- Strong technical acumen is beneficial for understanding customer bases and applying product solutions.
