Network Recruitment is assisting our esteemed client, a leading company in the agriculture industry, in their search for a dedicated and organized Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling of Loads: Plan and schedule loads efficiently to meet customer demands. This will involve understanding the logistics and operational workflows to optimize delivery schedules.
- Transport Planning: Coordinate with transporters to book trucks, ensuring the best rates and truck availability. This requires building relationships with transport providers and negotiating favorable terms.
- Customer/Supplier Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and effective execution of orders. This involves addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations to ensure accurate records of transactions and shipments. This includes reviewing delivery notes and invoices to ensure data integrity.
- SAP Utilization: Utilize SAP for tracking and managing logistics operations. While SAP experience is advantageous, training will be provided for the right candidate willing to learn this essential tool.
- Data Management: Maintain and manage records using Excel, ensuring data accuracy and availability. Proficiency in Excel is essential as it will be used for data analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is required. This background will help you understand the complexities of logistics operations.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel is essential. SAP knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory, as long as you are willing to learn.
- Attributes: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work long hours when necessary. These traits are crucial to ensuring smooth operations and meeting tight schedules.

Expected Salary: R380,000 – R420,000 per year
