Job Title: Sales Representative (Food Service Industry)

Job description: The Sales Rep will be responsible for managing and nurturing high-volume client relationships, developing and implementing customer / partner strategies, and ensuring optimal performance and customer / consumer satisfaction. The role involves providing necessary training and support to channel partners, conducting regular reviews of customer performance and collecting and analysing market and competitor data to inform decision making.Job Summary:
- Arrange a schedule of visits to major potential buyers by contacting people and making appointments
- Develop and update knowledge of their own products and the products of their competitors
- Speak with other sales and marketing personnel in their company to determine the best methods of promoting products and how they may be used
- Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms
- Record orders
- Visit clients to demonstrate use of products, show samples and take orders
- Report to employers on sales and provide feedback about the marketing of new or established products
- Carry out formal presentations of products using videos and other training aids, attend promotional markets and organise product displays
- Work on telemarketing campaigns
- Strong Internal and External relationship management
- General reporting functions
Role Capabilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong time management, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
- A relevant Business qualification
- Minimum 3 years Sales experience (Food Service Industry or Channel)
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook / Excel / Word / PPT)
- Own Transport and Drivers license
Expected salary: R35000 – 40000 per month
