- Developing and implementing business strategy in conjunction with management
- Maintain and grow existing customers
- On-board and develop new customers in consultation with the National Project Sales Manager
- Provide technical and service support to customers
- Provide technical support to regional sales representatives
- Grow sales from customers assigned to you while maintaining ethical standards in accordance with company policies and ethics.
- Increase project quote intake and hit rate
- Manage customer accounts
- Assist engineering and design office with designs and systems layout
- Grow sales to achieve or exceed monthly/annual targets
- Visit new and existing customers with the aim of growing / sustain the business.
- Sales forecasting
- Attend training courses.
Qualifications
- Matric
- BEng, BSc, BTech Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
Skills
- Preferable 5 – 10 years’ experience within engineering and/or customer services environment
- Preferable good working knowledge of Fluid Power and/or mining equipment
- Driver’s License
- English and Afrikaans spoken fluently and written
- Microsoft Office
