Job Description:
We are seeking a proficient and dedicated Personal Assistant to support the leadership team at our client’s head office in Pinetown. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational capabilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
The Personal Assistant will be entrusted with a variety of key duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Management Support: Assist in compiling management reports, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items. Support the Managing Director (MD) by managing complex calendars, prioritizing appointments, and making travel arrangements.

Communication: Act as a liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders. Draft and manage correspondence on behalf of the MD. Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Meeting Coordination: Coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, including agenda preparation, venue booking, technical support, and logistics management. Prepare presentations to support executive communication.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manage information flow to ensure timely and accurate communication.

Project Management: Support the MD with special projects, initiatives, and research assignments. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, ensuring strategic objectives are achieved efficiently.

Team Leadership: Effectively manage and lead a team of direct reports, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Supervise and manage company pool vehicles and bookings.
- Administrative Duties: Carry out any reasonable tasks as requested by management. This includes ad hoc duties that contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the MD’s office.
Qualities and Skills Required:
The successful applicant should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Personal Assistant to senior executives is essential.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- SAP experience would be advantageous, though not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail, with accuracy in managing data and correspondence.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently without supervision, demonstrating initiative and proactive problem-solving.
- Supervisory and people management skills.

Remuneration:
