Job description: Job Summary Well established Medical Practice in Centurion is seeking a receptionist. Duties and Responsibilities: • Answering of all calls in a professional, courteous and efficient manner. • Responding to all emails and WhatsApp messages. • booking patient appointments, communicating billing policy to all new and existing patients. • Welcome patients arriving in a friendly and professional manner, communicating time delays to manage client expectations. • Open accounts and capture all relevant information accurately on system for new patients. • Assist with obtaining patient results and related correspondence (lab results, radiology etc). • Medical aid billing. • Assist the doctor with all office admin related tasks. • Ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the practice • General administration • Maintain efficient patient service • Maintain confidentiality of doctor, staff and patient information. Desired Experience & Qualification • Matric • Diploma in Administration will be advantageous. • At least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar medical receptionist position will be advantageous. • Fluent in English & Afrikaans (verbal & written) • Experience with medical billing software • Fully computer literate • Own transport • Must reside within the Centurion region. Working hours • Monday to Friday, 09h00 – 18h00 – Flexibility with these times is absolutely necessary. Saturday (09h00 – 14h00)
Expected salary: R6000 per month
