Job description: Job Summary My client is one of the leading global appliance manufacturing companies with renowned consumer brands.The prosperous applicant will report to the CEO and will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and direction in all areas of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Lead the finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes to safeguard assets and optimize financial performance. Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop long-term financial plans and strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support decision-making on investments, capital projects, and business expansion opportunities. Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of strategic decisions, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and objectives. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for the board of directors, providing insights into key financial metrics, trends, and risks. Serve as a primary liaison between the finance function and the board, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and facilitating discussions on financial matters. Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities for growth. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, including finance managers and admin managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA) – non-negotiable
- MBA is advantageous
- 8+ years post-articles experience
- 5+ years in a senior or managerial role
- Proven track record of success in financial management, strategic planning, and board reporting within a complex organization
