Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and manufacturing-related accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
- Experience with inventory management systems and production tracking tools.

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant that will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the company’s financial records within a manufacturing environment. This position involves managing complex accounting functions, compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the strategic of the organisation. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles as they pertain to manufacturing operations.Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
- Conduct detailed variance analyses between actual and budgeted results, identifying key trends and providing actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track production costs, inventory valuation, and variances.
- Support the Finance Manager with financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities.
General Ledger and Reconciliations
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely posting of journal entries.
- Perform and review reconciliations for key accounts, including inventory, fixed assets, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounts.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Compliance and Audit
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during interim and annual audits, preparing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
- Prepare and file statutory and regulatory financial reports, including tax filings.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting and finance function.
- Implement new tools or systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes.
Team Leadership and Development
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of professional development.
- Review work performed by junior team members for accuracy and adherence to company standards
Salary:
