Due to the complexities of the role, it is an in-office position based on the foreshore in Cape Town.This position offers outstanding opportunity to grow you skills and expertise in international finance across several entities within the Property Development portfolio of this large investment firm.
Collaborating with both local and International teams you will be involved in but not limited to the following:
- Development of Budgets and forecasts
- Management reporting: Management accountants prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, such as management teams and board members, providing insights into financial performance, trends, and strategic opportunities or risks
- Performance measurement and analysis including Variance analysis (performance against budget)
- Balance Sheet and income statement reconciliation
- Preparation of Financial Statements from Source data and Group Consolidated Financial Statements
- Journal posting
- Monthly Accruals and provisions
- General Ledger and asset accounting functions
- CAPEX process
- Management of daily banking and cash requirements
- Involvement in year-end process and production of Annual Financial Statements
Requirements:
- Qualifications: BCom in finance or related field.
- CIMA or studying towards preferable
- SAICA articles ideal
- A minimum of 2 years in Property Accounting within a property development or management company
- Ideally experience within a shared services environment
- Group Consolidations experience
- Solid Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Preparation of Financial statements preferable
Expected salary: R40000 – 45000 per month
