Job description: Job Purpose: To assist in Cash Flow management and creditors payments and ensure the company’s financial objectives are met in terms of financial processing. Managing the processing of all accounting entries up to trial balance. To maintain a nominal ledger and supporting documents for the branchQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bookkeeping/ Accounting Diploma
- 5 -8 Yrs experience as a bookkeeper – senior level
- Excel & Microsoft Office knowledge and application
- AX systems experience will be advantageous
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare monthly management accounts and attendant schedules
- Review capture of entries
- Ensure that internal control measures are maintained through regular reconciliation of GL and bank accounts, journal entry reviews and auditing of computer systems data
- Review Creditors Age Analysis
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Prepare and submit VAT return
- Prepare invoices for cross charges to HO
Assist in Cash flow management and Creditors payments
- Before each month analyse creditors aging and foreign payment plan to evaluate cash outflows for the upcoming month
- Review bank account and monitor against monthly plan
- Alert FM to any cash shortages
- Provide Bank with relevant documents relating to foreign exchange applications
- Prepare and submit foreign payment forms
Provide back up to Finance Manager, factory administrator and HR Manager
- General cover when any of the above mentioned are out of the office
