Job description: Job Summary Responsibilities:
- Planning, execution and review of audit and other engagement files (compilation of financial statements, independent reviews and procedures.
- Coaching / training other staff in the team.
- Day-to-day management of the audit team and work-in-progress.
- Prepare and monitor the year planning.
- Client and director liaison.
- Preparing tax computations and management reports.
- Prepare and monitor audit budgets.
- Prepare quotations.
- Meeting deadlines.
- Staying up to date with the latest technical standards and legislation.
- Reporting directly to the directors.
- Audit and other engagement related administration.
Requirements:
- Completed SAICA articles & CA(SA) qualification.
- Accredited Bachelors degree.
- Own transport, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- Ability to cope under pressure and achieve deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to function well in a team.
- Strong management skills.
- Experience in compilations, reviews, and audits.
- Up to date knowledge of IFRS for SME’s, Companies Act, International Standards of Auditing and other applicable legislation.
